With the future comes new technology and
advancements in pre - existing technologies.
Cad/cams and innovative ceramic materials
are all becoming part of every day use.
The advent of these new technologies and
new materials brings new challenges, leaving
technicians to learn more processes and
applications of products. VIACS's goal is
to standardize and simplify these applications
for the commercial environment and to broaden
the technician’s abilities to use

| Larry Goldsmith -
R.D.T.
Began his career by earning
his professional certification in South
Africa. Being the first group of dental
technicians to complete the National Higher
Diploma in dental technology. .He then went
on to do his practical training in Durban
and Johannesburg.
Before immigrating to Canada, Larry was
owner of Prima Dental in Johannesburg specialising
in all fields of dental technology. Larry
continues his career as owner of Prima Dental
Laboratory Vancouver, diversifying his time
to train and teach the art of dental ceramics
to technicians as well as other dental professionals.
